When the Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives, Jon Patterson, visited Howdy Homemade KC, we captured the intersection of local commerce and public policy. This PR asset documents state leadership interacting directly with the shop's "Heroes" employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities to showcase the real-world success of Missouri’s employment-first initiatives. The video serves as high-level social proof for the franchise and its non-profit partner, TNC Community, proving that inclusive employment is both a viable business model and a legislative victory.

To honor 40 years of philanthropy, we avoided stiff corporate interviews and instead built a fast-paced, rhythmic documentary short. We mixed archival footage, deep-voiced narration, and intimate close-ups of community leaders to create a sense of shared history. The emotional momentum of the edit primed the gala audience to take immediate action when the lights came up.

Produced as the high-profile introductory centerpiece for a premier civic gala at the Kauffman Center, this film was engineered to command the attention of a packed auditorium seconds before JE Dunn Construction accepted Rockhurst's prestigious Rashford-Lyon Award. By blending fast-paced, cinematic event footage with an epic musical score, the video set a powerful, celebratory tone for the night. It successfully captured the massive room’s focus, established the gravity of the honor, and built immediate energy right before the family and executives took the stage.
