Project overview
fNscene captured the energy of NSBE49 as thousands of Black engineers, students, professionals, industry partners, and future STEM leaders gathered in Kansas City for one of the organization’s largest annual conventions. The event combined career opportunities, networking, professional development, competitions, and community under the theme “I Am S.T.E.M.”
Results
With 13,697 participants attending, NSBE49 brought together students, engineering professionals, corporate partners, recruiters, educators, and emerging STEM leaders from across the country. The convention featured a large-scale career fair, general sessions, professional development opportunities, networking events, competitions, workshops, and celebrations centered around NSBE’s mission and the convention theme, “I Am S.T.E.M.”
The production focused on translating the scale and atmosphere of the convention into an engaging visual experience. Rather than simply documenting individual sessions, the video captures the movement, connections, personalities, and excitement that made the event distinctive.
The finished piece showcases FN Scene’s ability to work within a fast-moving, large-scale event environment while creating polished content that communicates both the experience of attending and the broader identity of the organization.
